Donna May Harris

Donna May Harris, 92, of Battle Creek, passed away Wednesday March 20, 2024 at The Legacy at the Oaks at NorthPointe Woods.  She was born in Battle Creek, the loving daughter of Donald and Viola (Keagle) Post.  Donna retired from the Kellogg Company after 25 years.   

Donna was preceded in death by two husbands, James Cooper Hunt and Glen E. Harris; her son, Tim Hunt; her parents; and a sister, Nancy.  She is survived by her children, Debby (Ronald) Abbey, Rick (Sally) Hunt, and Conny (Will) Banks; her step-children, Brenda (Jeffrey) Sopchak and Glen (Diane) Harris; her daughter-in-law,  Brenda (Frank) Dolecki; 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.   

Donna and Glen wintered for 30 years in Apache Junction, AZ. She was a member of the Kellogg 25 Year Club, BMW Club and the Northside Snowmobile Club. She enjoyed collecting elephants, music, camping, traveling, crocheting, and gardening.  Donna loved all animals, especially her cats & dogs and watching the birds.  She most enjoyed her family and cherished each one of her family and friends, and every moment spent with them. 

Cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service to celebrate Donna’s life will be held at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens.
