Doris Eileen (Espy) Cutler of Kalamazoo, MI
Doris, age 91, died Monday afternoon, April 6, 2015 at the Plainwell Pines Nursing Home and following a lengthy illness.
Doris, the daughter of Erwin L. and Daisy G. (Robeson) Espy, was born on August 24, 1923 in Woodburn, IN; was a lifetime area resident and a 1941 graduate of Plainwell High School. She was retired from the Kalamazoo Public School System as a Clerk.
Doris was united in marriage to Ira A. Cutler on February 28, 1948 in Plainwell, MI. Surviving is her husband of 67 years, Ira; two sons, Steven I. Cutler of Hickory Corners, MI and Dale A. Cutler of Kalamazoo; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Doris was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers.
The Memorial Service to celebrate Doris' life will be held at Northeastern Baptist Church, 6536 East G Avenue, Kalamazoo at a date to be determined. There will be no visitation and the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home, Richland Chapel (269-629-6022) will announce the service information.
