Dorothy Mae (Ellis) Jollineau

Dorothy Mae (Ellis) Jollineau, 89, formerly of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan died at Calhoun County Medical Care Facility in Battle Creek, Michigan on Friday, February 3, 2017.

Dorothy was born September 27, 1927 in Royal Oak, Michigan to Haran and Mabel (Flood) Ellis. She grew up in Sault Ste.Marie and was a graduate of Sault Ste. Marie High School. Dorothy was employed as the office manager at Sault Machine in Sault Ste. Marie.

Dorothy married Willard Wayne Jollineau in 1948 in the Soo. Sadly she was preceded in death by Willard in 2003. Surviving are two sons, Steven E. Jollineau of Battle Creek, Paul (Luann) Jollineau of Holland, Michigan, four grandchildren, Jennifer (Jerry) Kocis, Steve Jollineau Jr., Lane (Debbie) Jollineau, Alan (Carmen) Jollineau.and 8 great-grandchildren. Dorothy is also survived by siblings Liz (Ralph) Bumstead, Herb (Bernice) Ellis, Jim (Connie) Ellis, Bill (Wanda) Ellis, Lois (Mort) Cook, Eileen Martin, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and their families. In addition to her husband, Dorothy was also preceded in death by sisters Verna (Shunk) Rogers and Ruth McKenzie and brothers George Ellis,and Clayton Ellis.

Dorothy and Willard moved to Rose City, Michigan in 1973. After Willards death, Dorothy lived in Rancho Santa Margarita, California for 10 years where she was a big fan of the Anaheim Ducks Hockey team and the LA Angels Baseball team.
