Eden Sickle Vining, 20, passed away May 22, 2026.

Eden was born February 13, 2006 in Chandler, Arizona to Shaun Kelly Vining and Lauren Zaccagni Sickle-Vining. He was a 2024 graduate of Lakeview High School.

Eden was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He was ordained to the office of Elder and a holder of the Melchizedek Priesthood. He was a Ward Missionary and greatly enjoyed serving in the church. He was also a Graduate of Seminary in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Eden was an Arrow of Light recipient with Cub Scout Pack 321 of Panama City Florida, and an Eagle Scout recipient with local Troop 355, as well as earned certifications in CPR, AED and Wilderness First Aid. He loved hiking, kayaking, camping, exploring the outdoors, and discovering new places like his backpacking adventure on the Appalachian Trail, or his kayaking down the Manistee River. He enjoyed anime; his favorites were One Piece, JJK, and Solo Leveling. He also enjoyed Star Wars, Legos, Marvel movies and playing video games with his friends. Eden attended CACC for Robotics & Engineering, as well as attended KCC, which he earned several certifications for Fanuc Robotics, OSHA & Manufacturing, and was looking forward to attending the RMTC for Industrial Electricity and Electronics program this fall. He was a hard worker and was a proud, eager employee at WK Kellogg Company. He enjoyed community service, he loved being a big brother to his younger siblings, and being a good friend to everyone he knew.

Eden is survived by his parents, Shaun and Lauren of Battle Creek; siblings, Emilyn, Weston and Declan Vining of Lakeview; grandparents, Vona and Kelly Vining of Laveen, Arizona and Joyce Sickle of Battle Creek, Michigan, as well as, many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and treasured friends. He was preceded in death by his "Grandpa Bear" George “Larry” Sickle and step “Papa Dan” Clemence.

Eden’s family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, June 9 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 10 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, at 1312 Capital Ave SW, followed by a Graveside Dedication & Prayer at Battle Creek Memorial Park Cemetery, 2435 W. Territorial Rd, at 12:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an educational fund for Eden’s siblings (more information to come), or to the National Motorcycle Safety Fund (https://nmsfund.org/Default.aspx).
