Edward Franklin Case

Edward Franklin Case, 89, of Battle Creek died peacefully at Heritage Assisted Living on Wednesday, December 9, 2020.

Ed was born February 8, 1931 in Royal Oak, Michigan to Clifton Franklin and Charlotte (Holt) Case. He was a 1949 graduate of Bellevue High School. After high school, he was employed at Clark Equipment Company. Ed honorably served his country 1952-1954, in the U.S. Army, during the Korean War. He returned to Clark Equipment Company after his tour with the U.S. Army. Ed was employed for a total of 30 years at Clarks, retiring as a foreman.

Ed was formerly married to Cleeta Marie Kennedy. Surviving are a daughter, Tina (Mark) Rozell of Athens, MI; a son, Kyle Case living in Illinois; grandchildren, Ryan (Kaitlyn) Rozell, Kendra (Brad) Inman, Jon Case, Michael Prince, Samantha Prince; great-grandchildren, Addison Inman, Emmalynn Inman, Elias Rozell; two brothers, Donald (Barbara) Case of Battle Creek, Cameron Case; two sisters-in-law, Joyce Case, Carolyn Case; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and their families. Ed was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Raymond "Bud" Case, Laurence "Larry" Case and three sisters, Barbara Cooley, Beverly McRae and Deanna Perry.

He loved traveling with his wife and children in their motor home all across America. Ed was always up for a game of cards with his family.

Interment will be held at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care. Personal messages for the family may be placed here at www.farleyestesdowdle.com.
