Edward E. Springer

Edward E. Springer, 58, passed away unexpectedly on July 2, 2020. He was born in Kalamazoo on February 20, 1962, the son of David and Lillybally (Branham) Springer. Edward was married to Penny J. Woodman on November 29, 1994.

Edward is survived by his wife, Penny; two brothers, Dave A. Branham and Walter A. Springer, Sr., both of Battle Creek; nieces, Christina (Bob) Daniels of Allan, Terrie (Melvin) Ferebee, Kami Woodman, Sara (Robbie) Aspinall, of Battle Creek, Kimberly (Micha) Aseltine of Nashville, MI.; nephews, David A. (Theresa) Branham of Battle Creek, Matthew (Trace) Woodman of Albion, Timothy (Nancy) Hanger Jr., Walter A. Springer, Jr., Jayson (Katie) Springer of Battle Creek; 20 grand-nieces and nephews; four great great-nephews; five aunts and 11 special friends.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; two brothers, Robert and Daniel Springer; a sister-in-law, Rose Marie Springer; brothers-in-law, James and Jeffery Woodman; his mother-in-law, Ilene Woodman; one niece; one great-niece and many other aunts, uncles and other family members.

Throughout the years, Edward liked watching NASCAR on TV and putting together models. He worked at Jim's Flower Shop and enjoyed planting and arranging flowers. He loved to play with his nieces and nephews and was a member of the U.C.T.
