Edward Henry VanVleet, age 68, of Battle Creek sadly passed away on Friday evening, October 26, 2018. He was born in Battle Creek on November 15, 1949, the son of Edward and Pauline (Little) VanVleet. A true outdoorsman, Edward enjoyed fishing, hunting, and driving around watching the deer. He was a member of the P.N.A. and most of all loved spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren.
Edward is survived by his children, Steve (Connie) VanVleet, Missa (Billy) Mexico, and Larry (Cindy) Seeley; several grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his sister, Yvonne Green; his former wife, Pat VanVleet; and his special nephew, Tony (Ashley) Rice. He was sadly preceded in death by his parents; his son, Todd Crane; his lifetime personal friend, Cathy Sue Pahl; and his nephew, Brad VanVleet.
A memorial gathering to celebrate Edward's life will be held 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, November 4th at the P.N.A. (Polish National Alliance) 15 Clair Street, Battle Creek, MI 49014.
