Emily Elizabeth Galloup

Emily Elizabeth Galloup, 31, of Battle Creek died unexpectedly and was pronounced on Sunday, December 18, 2016.

Emily was born September 19, 1985 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Stephen and Janelle (Bryant) Galloup. She grew up in Battle Creek, attended Lakeview High School, Wright Beauty Academy, KCC in the nursing program and KVCC studying human medicine and psychology. Emily had been employed by Quality Nursing Service, provided in home hospice care; and worked on the line at Post Cereals.

Surviving is child, Jayden Galloup a student at Harper Creek; Jayden's father, David Demone; her parents, Steve Galloup of Kalamazoo and Janelle Galloup of Battle Creek; her brother, Tony (Samone Wigent) Galloup of East Leroy; & numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and their families.

Emily loved her family and friends. She enjoyed braiding hair and hoped to one day have her own salon.

Friends will be received 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Tuesday at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, where the Rosary will be recited at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Philip Roman Catholic Church by Fr. Simon Chummar-Manjooran 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2016.
