Eric John Alleshouse

Eric John Alleshouse, 34, of Battle Creek, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, December 24, 2013, after Eric received tender loving care at Lifespan Good Samaritan Hospice Residence. Eric was in declining health over the past year.

Eric was born April 1, 1979, in Battle Creek, MI to Dennis L. and Diane M. (Keller) Alleshouse. He attended Doris Klaussen Developmental Center. Eric resided at Kambly Living Center for ten years, where he was known as "Smiley" and later at the Cretsinger Home for a short time. Eric was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church. He enjoyed bowling and listening to his radio, especially country music. Eric was always smiling and loved everyone.

Surviving are his parents, Dennis and Diane Alleshouse of Battle Creek; his sister, Amy Alleshouse of Battle Creek; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Keller of Battle Creek; paternal grandfather, Nelson Alleshouse of Colon, MI and several aunts, uncles, cousins and their families.

Friends will be received 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday at the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 28, 2013, at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 349 Capital Avenue N.E., Battle Creek, MI 49017. Interment will follow at West Pennfield Hicks Cemetery.
