Ethel F. Jeffries

Ethel F. Jeffries, 84, of Battle Creek, died Monday, October 28, 2013 at the Manor of Battle Creek. Ethel was born March 21, 1929 in Case County, Kentucky to James and Jessie (Cochran) Allison. She devoted her life to her family as a stay at home mother and later in life she worked 12 years at Cello Foil. She enjoyed playing cards, but especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Ethel is survived by her daughter, Denese (Jon) Hazel; three sons, Dale Jeffries, Mike Jeffries and Jim Jeffries; six grandchildren, Candy M. Robbins, Cpl. Jonathan D. Hazel, Steven R. Hazel, Shanel Wabindato, Melinda Jeffries and Trevor Jeffries and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Charles Jeffries, a son, Jeffrey Dean Jeffries and 12 brothers and sisters.
Cremation has taken place and a private graveside service was held at Oak Hill Cemetery. Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider a charity of choice.
