Eugene Green Livingston

Eugene Green Livingston, 93, passed away August 13, 2025.

Eugene was born April 24, 1933 in Sweetwater, TN to Arloe and Pearl (Greene) Livingston. He served his country honorably in the United States Army. He later worked for Eaton Manufacturing for 35 years. On August 25, 1956, he was united in marriage to the former Arlene Ayres. Eugene enjoyed tinkering in his garage and yard and always had a smile on his face.

Eugene is survived by his son, John Livingston; grandson, Byron Livingston; great-grandchildren, Rylin and Ashlyn Livingston; sisters, Geraldine Simmons, Ermalee Tucker and sisters-in-law, Winifred Conine and Diane (Doug) Palmiter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Arlene; son Andrew Livingston; parents and brothers, Kenneth Basil and J.D. Livingston.

Per Eugene’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service with military honors will take place at Fort Custer National Cemetery on Tuesday, August 25 at 1:30 p.m. Personal messages for Eugene’s family may be shared at www.farleyestesdowdle.com.
