Eva Jane Calvin of Hendersonville, TN, and formerly of Battle Creek, Michigan, died July 15, 2013 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville, TN.
She was born April 4, 1930 in Rochester, MI, the daughter of Antonio Salinas Abrego and Anjela Flores Abrego.
Eva was employed by the Kellogg Company of Battle Creek, Michigan for 39 years.
She is survived by four children, David (Cheryl) Calvin of Stockton, KS, Sharon (John) Bradley of Battle Creek, MI, Christine Roche of Battle Creek, MI, and K. Michael Calvin of Hendersonville, TN, a sister, Toni Calvin (Michigan), a brother Oscar Abrego (Texas), eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She loved her cats, knitting, gardening and especially shopping.
A funeral mass will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 19, 2013, at St. Philip Catholic Church with Fr. Francis Marotti officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Eva has requested no flowers, please. Memorial contributions make to Humane Society. Arrangements are by the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home.
