Evelyn Arlene Eichholz

Evelyn A. Eichholz, 90, of Plainwell, died June 2, 2026. Evelyn was born September 19, 1935 in Bellevue, MI to C. Foster and Grace (Farley) Luce. She graduated Bellevue high school and married Garth Eichholz on June 5, 1954.

Evelyn enjoyed gardening and trips to the Upper Peninsula, especially to enjoy the fall colors. She was a dedicated member of Christ Community Church, where she taught Sunday school and played the organ for approximately 50 years. She was also the organist at many weddings and funerals around the Battle Creek area.

Evelyn is survived by her two children, Alecha Eichholz and Aaron Eichholz; brother-in-law, Gary Eichholz; sister-in-law, Debbie Burgess and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Garth, her parents and two sisters, Marjorie Luce and Jean McClane.

A celebration of life will be held at Gracespring Bible Church in Richland MI on July 23rd at 3:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to gracespring Bible Church.
