Evelyn E. Williams

Evelyn E. Williams, 85, of Richland, died May 10, 2019 at her home. Evelyn was born September 19, 1933 in Kalamazoo to Roy and Elizabeth (Williams) Taylor. In her younger years, she loved to knit and crochet. She enjoyed fishing and working in her flower garden. She was an attendee of the Northeastern Baptist Church.

Evelyn is survived by son, Donald (Shelly) Conrad; two granddaughters; two great-granddaughters; two sisters, Vera Hawes and Jean Ulrich; and six step children, including Kim Cooper.

Evelyn married her first husband, Donald C. Conrad, Jr. on Sept. 13, 1952; he preceded her in death in 1974. She then married James "JD" Williams on June 6, 1975; and he also preceded her in death in 2001. Evelyn was also preceded in death by a grandson, Donald M Conrad; a son, Robert Conrad in 1991; and 9 siblings.

Funeral services to celebrate Evelyn's life will be 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 14th at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Richland Chapel. Interment will follow at Mt. Ever Rest Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, starting at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Northeastern Baptist Church Building Fund or the West Michigan Cancer Center.
