Fatima Susan Sadik

Fatima Susan Sadik, age 69 of Richland passed away Monday afternoon, June 2, 2025.

Fatima was born on October 10, 1955, in Detroit, Michigan, to Jusuf and Remsia. She was the youngest of three children, with two older brothers, Server and Jake. She grew up in Redford and graduated from Thurston High School before earning a bachelor's degree from Western Michigan University.

She met her husband Keith Bostwick and they married in January 1983. Staying home to raise their daughter Amy, Fatima opened a welcoming in-home daycare, building wonderful memories and fulfilling her entrepreneurial spirit.

Later, she followed her passion for creativity and connection by opening Richland Jewel Gallery. She cherished the relationships she built there, always delighted to help someone find the perfect gift.

Fatima was devoted to her family, especially her granddaughters, Livy and Quinn. Her calls were frequent, always beginning with, “How are my girls?” She loved to travel and create memories—whether at Disney World, Mackinac Island, or cruising through the Norwegian Fjords.

She was artistic, loving, thoughtful, and the best listener. She was a bit complicated; but most interesting people are.

Fatima is survived by her loving husband Keith, her daughter Amy (Dan), and her beloved granddaughters, Livy and Quinn.

Rest easy, Mom. Dad and I will miss you forever.

Friends and family are welcome to attend an informal Celebration of Life Gathering from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., Saturday, June 14, 2025 at the Four Roses Cafe, 663 N.10th Street, Plainwell, MI 49080.
