Florence King

Florence M. King, 69, of Battle Creek died peacefully on Sunday morning, December 22, 2013 at the Lifespan Good Samaritan Hospice Residence. She was born in Battle Creek on September 22, 1944, the daughter of Paul L. and Dorothy M. (Culp) Warren. Florence enjoyed gardening and spending time with her sister, Sandy.
Florence married "The love of her life", Keith Richard King in Battle Creek on November 1, 1986; he sadly preceded her in death on July 30, 2008. She is survived by her 2 "special-grandchildren, Kory & Kiara; 2 step-children; 4 step-grandchildren; brothers & sisters, Sandy Robertson, Robert (Shirley) Warren, Harriet (John) Montgomery, Nancy (Bob) Fabian, Gary (Joanne) Warren, and several dear nieces & nephews.
A visitation will be held 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 28, 2013 at the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home where funeral services to celebrate Florence's life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday. Entombment services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 5, 2014 in the chapel at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
