It is with great sadness that the family of Florence Owen shares the news of her passing on March 8, 2020. Florence, 87, was born on April 27, 1932, in Manila, Arkansas to John and Sophia (Watson) Toole. She graduated from Misco High School in 1951 and married Paul Owen soon after. Florence spent most of her life in Bellevue until retiring from DeMaagd GMC after 19 years; she then split her time with family between Michigan and South Carolina.
Florence loved people. She loved socializing, being with family and friends, and sharing stories of her life. She enjoyed travel throughout the United States and abroad such as Korea and Greece. She also found great enjoyment in her many casino trips, loved her plants and flowers and working in her yard. Florence belonged to the Eagles, the Senior Tour Club and the First Baptist Church in Bellevue. Her deep rooted southern faith never wavered and she is now celebrating life with Her Lord.
Florence is survived by her son, Victor Owen, (Cynthia); her daughter, Pamela Koehne, (Michael) and adopted daughter Carolyn Lonergan; seven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Florence was preceded in death by her husband Paul and daughter Paula.
