Frances Kay Hennaut, age 68, of Battle Creek passed away Thursday morning, February 15, 2018 at Bronson Battle Creek. She was born in Fort Hood, Texas on July 8, 1949, the loving daughter of Chess C. and Gladys F. (Ross) Ward. Frances has worked as a telephone agent for more than 30 years with Total Communications, Michigan Message Center, and currently with Answer United. A true Matriarch, Frances loved her "Hugs" and anything that involved her family, especially "Sunday Dinners" and "Pizza Mondays". She also enjoyed bird watching, traveling, and watching the Food Network & HGTV.
Frances married the "Love of Her Life", Emile M. Hennaut at Shaw Air Force Base in South Carolina on June 19, 1970; he survives. She is also survived by her children, Elizabeth Renee (David) Bush-Gerber, Kenneth V. (Nicky) Hennaut, and Shayn E. (Johanna) Wyman; her grandchildren, Cody V. (Billi Jean Vance) Hennaut, Christopher O. (Megan Miller) Bush, Brittaney N. (Matthew Looby) Kinney, Jensen E. (Alex Westphal) Bush, Dustin W. (Bradie Davenport) Hennaut, Carley Wyman and Landon Wyman; her great-grandson, Cooper V. Hennaut; and her brother, Charles C. (Gloria) Ward. Frances was preceded in death by her parents, and her mother & father-in-law, Florent "Blackie" and Clara E. Hennaut.
The family will receive friends 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, February 19th at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care where services to celebrate her life will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 20th.
