Frank T. Stratton

Frank Stratton, age 79, of Marco Island, FL passed on September 8th, 2021. He was the loving husband of Georgia (Trinka) to whom he was married for over 55 years.

He was born in Philadelphia, PA to Frank and Myrtle (Soehle) Stratton.

An exceptional student, Frank was selected to attend Central High School in downtown Philadelphia and Ursinus College. His passion for helping people led to his admission to the Philadelphia School of Osteopathy. Upon graduation from his radiology residency, Frank served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam war stationed on Taiwan, attaining the rank of Lieutenant Commander.

Upon returning from his service, Frank moved his family to Michigan where he worked at Flint Osteopathic Hospital (FOH) and Genesys Hospital. He served as Department Chairman of Radiology at FOH, Associate Professor of Radiology at Michigan State University and President of the American Osteopathic College of Radiology.

He is predeceased by his parents and his brother Jim. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Georgia, his children Scott, Brian and Julie and seven grandchildren.
