Fred L. Whipple

Fred L. Whipple, age 71 of Augusta passed away Thursday evening, December 7, 2023.  He was born in Battle Creek on May 7, 1952, the son of Clyde F. and Edna C. (Morris) Whipple.  Fred enjoyed riding bicycles, going to garage sales, tinkering, helping others with yardwork, watching Cowboy shows, listening to old country music & was proud of his record collection.

Fred is survived by his brother, William "Bill" (Joy) Whipple Sr. and several aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Charlotte and Ruth Ann; and two brothers, George and Clyde.

Graveside services to celebrate his life will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 16th at the Cedar Creek Cemetery (Cedar Creek Road between Pifer Road and Dowling Road) (Cedar Creek Road is west of M-37 off Pifer Road) Hope Township. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Kinnley Memorial, checks made payable to Kathy Nelson, 12148 Fort Custer Drive, Galesburg, MI 49053.
