Gary D. Freds

Gary Daniel Freds, age 83, of Battle Creek, Michigan passed away at home on Tuesday, August 3, 2021.

Gary was born on March 26, 1938 to Cressel and Irene (Delaney) Freds in Battle Creek. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army and worked as a Certified Nurse's Aid for the V.A.

Gary was a woodworker and enjoyed playing guitar in his spare time. He loved old cars and going to classic car shows.

Gary is survived by his children, Karen (Bill) Hodgkinson, Katherine (Raymond) Parnell, Kerry Freds, and Kim (Merle) Roblet, as well as ten grandchildren, Dustin,
Ashlee, Danielle, Nathan, Jeffrey, Taylor, Kasey, Sam, Breana, Christina; four great-grandchildren, Ellen, Aidrik, Landing, Kaylin and former wife, Connie Freds. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Ralph Freds, and sisters, Mary Malone and Barb Favourite.
