George G. Graham, age 76, of Battle Creek died peacefully on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at the Bronson @ Home Good Samaritan Hospice Residence. He was born in Union City, Michigan on February 25, 1939, the loving son of Hugh and Vivian (Holben) Graham. George faithfully served his country as a member of the United States Army and retired from Post Cereals in 1994 after more than 30 years of service.
George married the "Love of His Life", Anna B. Smith in Des Moines, Iowa on March 26, 1962; she survives. He is also survived by his daughters, Cheryl Carpenter of Battle Creek and Kim Westworth of Athens; his grandchildren, Marissa (Colin) Wimes of Battle Creek, Steven Renshaw of Battle Creek, Deanna Katz of Portage, and Jacob Westworth of Athens; his great-grandchildren, Emma, Dominick, his sister, Marilyn Palamiter, and nieces Sandra (Jim) Elston and Pam Ooten, all of Battle Creek.
George enjoyed fishing on the pontoon boat and watching NASCAR. His greatest loves in life were his family and flying. He took many trips to the Oshkosh Air Show in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
At George's request, cremation has taken place. Funeral services with full military honors will take place at a later date at the Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta.
