Gerald "Jerry" Embury

Gerald "Jerry" Embury, age 91, of Battle Creek passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning, December 7, 2021. Jerry was born June 3, 1930 in Port Huron, Michigan, the loving son of George and Edith Helen (McTaggart) Embury. He faithfully served his country as member of the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict, and was honorably discharged with the rank of Staff Sergeant. Jerry enjoyed woodworking and was a member of the Eagles Lodge and the Home Builders Association.

Jerry was sadly preceded in death by his wife of more than 50 years, Alma Embury on May 28, 2008. He was also preceded in death by his son, Rick Embury. Jerry is survived by his daughter, Debra Embury; his granddaughter, Kimberly Sloan; his grandson, Jeremy and wife Stacy Sloan; his great-grandchildren, George & Frances Sloan, and his girlfriend, Elsie Gibson.
