Glenda V. Tuttle, 60, of Battle Creek died at her residence in the care of her sister and family on Monday, October 20, 2014.
Glenda was born August 11, 1954 in Battle Creek, Michigan to Glenn and Janithe (Acker) Davis. She was raised in Battle Creek and attended Battle Creek Public Schools. Glenda was employed at Care
Community and as a foster care provider.
Glenda married Dennis Tuttle. Surviving are her husband, Dennis; sons, Joel (Sabrina) Davis, John (Nikki) Davis and Jason (Linda) Davis, all of Battle Creek; grandchildren, Michael (Mariah) Davis, Ron London, MarQue Davis, Brandon Davis, Joseph Davis, Maleah Davis, Alissa Rose, Donald Watson and Nathan Davis; a brother, Ric (Dena) Rentfro of Wall Lake; sisters, Leslie (Marve) Morgan, Millie (Gary) Gillette, and Bonnie Collins, all of Battle Creek; step-brothers, Jim (Pam) Bishop of Battle Creek, Frank (Janet) Bishop and Audrey McCarthy both of Lansing; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Janithe Rentfro, father, Glen Davis, daughter, Dorinda Davis, sister, Charlene Rentfro, step-brother LeRoy Bishop and step-sister Dreama Bishop.
Glenda was a devoted member of Gateway To Heaven Church, where she praised her Lord in song and prayer. She loved reading her Bible and spending time with her family.
Friends may call 2:00-3:00 p.m. Friday, October 24, 2014 at the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home, where funeral services will be officiated by Pastor Marvin Morgan 3:00 p.m. Friday, following the visitation.
