Glenn, died Saturday, December 6, 2014 at the age of 58 with his wife by his side. He is preceded in death by his parents, Kedwick and Elizabeth Martin and survived by his wife Lea, daughter, Kelly and son, Tom. Survivors also include his sisters, Susan (David) Tsumura of Tokyo, Japan and Anne (Phil) Pummell of Rabun Gap, GA and his aunt, Lois A. Martin of Mattawan, MI.


Glenn was born on December 26, 1955 in Muncie, Indiana. He was raised in Monroe, Louisiana and graduated from Neville High School where he discovered his passion for football. In his time playing football at Neville, Glenn was selected as an All-State, All-Southern and honorable mention All-American, as well as being awarded the Defensive Player of the Year in Louisiana. He continued on to Louisiana Tech where he discovered his greatest passion of all, the love of his life, Lea, to whom he was married for 33 years.


Glenn and Lea raised their children in Louisiana and California. He was deeply involved in the Campolindo High School freshmen football team as a Defensive Coach and served as an Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 212. When both children moved to Colorado for college, Glenn and Lea followed.


Glenn had a passion for the outdoors and sports. He loved spending time with his family and friends, hiking, camping, backpacking and listening to music. Glenn excelled at everything he put his mind to and was a wonderful and loving husband, father, friend and devout follower of Christ, his Savior. He will be greatly missed.


A Service of the Witness to the Resurrection and Thanksgiving for the Life of Glenn will be held on Saturday, January 17th at 10:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 8047 Church Street, Richland, MI with Rev. Dr. Mark W. Jennings, Pastor, officiating. Glenn's remains will be laid to rest at Prairie Home Cemetery, Richland with the family members that have joined God before him immediately following the Service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Glenn's memory to Canine Companions for Independence (www.cci.org) or to Boy Scouts of America (http://www.scouting.org/donate.aspx) as these were two causes he was very passionate about. The Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home, Richland Chapel (269-629-6022) is handling the arrangements.
