Grace Marie (Karker) Hickey

Grace Marie (Karker) Hickey, 82, of Battle Creek died Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital, after fighting the COVID-19 Virus. Previously, Grace resided at Calhoun County Medical Care Facility.
Grace was born September 14, 1937 in Union City, Michigan the daughter of Pearl Lou and Marie Elizabeth (White) Karker. She moved to Battle Creek with her family and made it her home. Grace was employed as a Bar Tender at 3rd Base in Battle Creek for several years.
Grace was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Hickey, her parents, four sisters and four brothers. Surviving are her siblings, John H. Karker, Gary Karker and Sherry Karker (twins), James "Jim" Karker, Donna Dove and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and their families.
Grace and her husband, Larry enjoyed attending concerts in Angola, Indiana at Buck Lake Ranch, known as "Nashville of the North". She also loved being at home.
A private inurnment will be held at Bedford Cemetery for Grace's family.
