Harley "Butch" Cartwright Jr.

Harley H. “Butch” Cartwright Jr., age 79, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Evergreen Manor.  He was born in Battle Creek on April 7, 1944 the son of Harley and Marjorie (Secord) Cartwright and graduated from Battle Creek Central High School with the Class of 1962.  He worked for several years at Clark Equipment Co. and then moved to Corpus Christi, Texas where he worked for the Flower Bluff School System.  Butch then moved back to Battle Creek to help take care of his mother.  He enjoyed golfing, bowling and playing pool.

Butch is survived by his sister, Linda Feld; and his nephews, Edward (Sherry) Feld, Scott (Marry Reuter) McQuern, Terry (Dee), Steve (Kathy), Kim, Mark & Ron Haver. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister & brother-in-law, Cecilia (Ron) Haver; brother-in-law, Richard Feld; and a baby brother, Charles Cartwright.
