Harold J. Kraft, Jr.

Harold John Kraft, Jr., 87, of Battle Creek, died April 24, 2023.  Harold was born November 9, 1935 in Chicago, IL to Harold and Catherine (Nordland) Kraft, Sr.  He worked at Consumers Energy for 59 years, performing many different jobs.  He truly enjoyed his job, and even wrote a book about it.  Every year, Harold would be at his grandson’s special Olympics.  He also loved camping.  He was a member of the Pennfield Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Harold married the former Helena Jeanne McComb, who survives.  They were married for 69 years.  Also surviving are their four children, Harold John (Delilah) Kraft, III, Daniel Lee (Robin) Kraft, Michael Edward (Janice) Kraft and Dorlah Carleen (Don) Kraft-Guilfoyle; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
