Harry A. "Skip" French Jr., 66 of Marshall passed away March 25, 2016 at Oaklawn Hospital.
He was born May 8, 1949 in Houston, Texas to Harry A. French Sr. and Valarie (Conway) French. He lived most of his life in Grass Lake where he graduated from high school. He went on to get and associates degree at Jackson Community College. He was employed as a process Engineer until retiring in 2012 due to health issues.
He enjoyed working on cars, Blues Music, video games and spending time with family. He spent the last 20 plus years with his wife and partner Joan (Fair) French living in Kentucky, Missouri and Marshall, MI.
He is survived by his wife Joan A. French of Marshall, MI; son, Travis French of Jackson; daughter and son-in-law Laura & Steve Mowry; son Douglas Gentry all of Battle Creek. Five grandchildren also survive him. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services will be held at 4:00 pm, Thursday at the Old Apostolic Church, 13416 W. Michigan Ave in Marshall on March 31st.
