Helen Joyce (Little) Myers, 85, of Battle Creek died at Borgess Medical Center on Monday, May 5, 2014, after a long illness.

Helen was born April 1, 1929 in Schoolcraft, MI to Roy and Hazel (McClain) Little. She grew up in Battle Creek and was employed at the former People's Saving & Loan Association and in Real Estate for Walt York. Helen enjoyed crafts, making figurines, sewing, cooking and especially spending time with her family.

Helen Joyce Little married Dewey Myers on November 1, 1946 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was preceded in death by Dewey, her husband of 66 years on November 26, 2012. Surviving are three sons, James "Randy" (Carlene) Myers, Stephen "Steve" (Janice) Myers and Larry Myers; grandchildren, Shannon (Jason) Rose, Sean Blanton, Christopher (Jennifer) Myers and Matthew (Emily) Myers; great grandchildren, Christopher Rose and Caitlin Rose; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Tom Little and four sisters, Virginia Duflo, Gladys Brummels, Millie Plonans and Emma VanDee.

Funeral Services will be held in the chapel at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens 1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 8, 2014. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.
