Hershell Norrod

Hershell was born February 14, 1938 in Crawford, Tennessee to Otis H. and Wilma (Brown) Norrod. He graduated from Battle Creek Central High School and served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force. He worked as a typesetter and printer at Michigan Central Press for more than 40 years. Hershell’s favorite pastimes were solving cross word and jigsaw puzzles and he was an ace at Jeopardy. He also enjoyed many years of golf, bowling, the casinos and traveling to visit friends and family. His favorite music was Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon.

Hershell is survived by his wife, Kathleen (Hagan) Norrod; children, Craig (Susie) Norrod, Theresa (Tony) Payne and Michael (Jennifer) Thiel; grandson, Cameron Thiel and brother, Kenneth (Kathy) Norrod. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jodelle (Greensmith) Norrod and son, Bart Norrod.
