Howard Campbell

Howard Campbell, 75, of Battle Creek, died December 10, 2015. Howard was born March 2, 1940 in Battle Creek to Miles and Marjorie (Hope) Campbell. He graduated from Lakeview High School in 1958 and worked as a large equipment mechanic with Battle Creek Motor Parts and Industrial Truck Service. He also worked at Behnke Warehouse.

Howard married Margaret Behnke on November 7, 1959 in Battle Creek. They were blessed with 56 years of marriage. Howard loved spending time with his family and made an impact on everyone who knew him. He thoroughly enjoyed his time spent at CentraCare.

Howard is survived by his loving wife, Margaret; two children, Donald H. (Kim) Campbell and Laurie A. (Wendell) Diggs; four grandchildren, Blair Knight, Brian Rudd, Brooke Rudd and Kyle Campbell; six great-grandchildren, Ayrianna, Addison, Clay, Charlie, Kylie and Kenzie; and 3 siblings, Marylou, Joan and Phillip.

Howard was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings, Roy, Ruth, Dick and Jack.

A memorial service to celebrate Howard's life will be 3:00 p.m., Friday, December 18, 2015 at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care.
