Ilene Corrin (Osborn) Woodman

It is with great sadness that the family of Ilene Woodman announces her passing on April 12,2020. She was born in Albion, Michigan on August 1, 1933, the daughter of Floyd F. and M. Lucille (Smith) Osborn and graduated from Battle Creek Central High School with the Class of 1953.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband James of 60 year's; her children, Penny (Edward) Springer, and Peggy (Scott) Green; her grandchildren, Matthew (Tracie) Woodman, Kami Woodman and Kimberley (Micah) Aseltine; 7 great-grandchildren; her sister, Naomi Satterwaite; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her two sons, James and Jeffery; her parents; her sister, Donna; and brothers-in-law, James and Herb

Throughout the years, Ilene was involved in the First Baptist Church and First Presbyterian Church choirs, the Boys and Girl Scouts, PTA and UCT, and was Secretary and a Past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Ilene and James enjoyed the adventures of traveling. They took many adventures on the train, went on a cruise to Alaska, and also went on a hot air balloon ride.

A private family service has been held and a public Memorial Service to celebrate Ilene's life will be held later in the year when it is safe to gather again. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shrine Hospitals for Children, the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the First Presbyterian Church.
