Isaac Lee "Ike" Mcglothen

Isaac Lee "Ike" McGlothen, 63 of Battle Creek, MI died Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo, after a valiant battle with cancer with several medical complications with his family at his side.

Ike was born February 7, 1955 in Fort Hood, Texas to Homer Lee and Dola Joyce (Howard) McGlothen. He grew up in Battle Creek and was a 1973 graduate of Battle Creek Central High School. Ike retired from the Battle Creek Public Schools, where he was employed for over 30 years.
Surviving are his mother, Dola Joyce McGlothen of Battle Creek; a brother, Lonnie(Chris) McGlothen of Battle Creek; two nephews, Joel McGlothen, Evan McGlothen and a niece, Amy McGlothen. Ike was preceded in death by his father, Homer, on June 12, 1987.

Friends will be received 12:00 noon – 1:00 p.m. Saturday at 20th Street Church of Christ, 122 N. 20th St., where funeral services will be officiated by Pastor Josh Hydrick 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 15, 2018.
