Isaac Wilson

Isaac Wilson, 83, of Battle Creek, died February 24, 2023. Isaac was born March 28, 1939 in Calhoun, AL to Willie Sr. and Elizabeth (Robinson) Wilson. Isaac enjoyed playing the harmonica, painting and dancing. Above all else, he loved to fish and spend time with his family.

Isaac married the former Diane (Williams), who survives. He is also survived by his children, Isaac (Mona) Wilson Jr., Stanley Wilson, Jacqueline (Justin) Ludington, Jerome (Darcy) Wilson, Roderick Wilson, Bonita Wilson, Tamara Wilson, Jimmata Jones, James Richmond, Cory (Tonyeaka) Williams, Jeremy (Angela) Bush, Paul Warren, and special son Demario Salsbury; two brothers, Lassic (Daisy) McCall and Stanley Wilson; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and brother and sisters-in-law.

Isaac was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Lisa (Wilson) Etchison, a son Myron Swift; his twin sister, Rebecca (Wilson) Hayes and other siblings, Rosie D. (Wilson) Shelby, Willie Wilson Jr., Austin Wilson, John Henry Wilson, Harvey Wilson, Annie Lee Wilson, and Steve Wilson.

Funeral services to celebrate Isaac's life will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, starting at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care.
