Jack C. Clark

Jack C. Clark, age 78, of Richland passed away Thursday morning, September 7, 2023 at Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo.  He was born in Richland, Michigan on May 11, 1945, the son of Ralph and Eva (Brown) Clark and graduated from Richland High School with the Class of 1963.  Jack retired from Target Distribution, was also a part-owner of the Gardens Lounge, and worked at the Richland Pub, and the Ace Hardware in Richland.  Jack enjoyed spending time with his family, camping in Michigan and Florida, playing Bingo, sometimes enjoying the casinos, going for walks, feeding the deer & turkeys, and picking on his grandchildren.

Jack is survived by his wife, Sue Morse; his daughter, Michelle Beebe; step-daughters, Theresa (Scott Werner) Wolthuis, Debra (Mark) Butler, and Penny Miller; an extra daughter, Deb Lewis; a nephew, Cliff; a niece, Cathy; ten grandchildren; several great-grandchildren & great-great grandchildren; and his dog & "best friend", Joey.  He was preceded in death by his daughter, Denise Clark; his parents; two brothers, Sam and Spencer Clark; a son-in-law, Jaydee Miller; and two grandsons. 

At Jack’s request, cremation has taken place and a memorial to celebrate his life will be held 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 22, 2023 at the Richland Township Fire Station, 7401 N 32nd St, Richland, MI 49083.
