Jackie A. Russell

Jackie A. Russell, 85, of Battle Creek, died February 2, 2023. Jackie was born September 26, 1937 in Kalamazoo to Jess and Rose (Minor) Russell. He worked at the Kellogg Company for many years before retiring. He enjoyed playing his guitar, fishing and restoring cars. He was very handy and was always willing to help his friends and family. He was an Elder at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness.

Jackie is survived by his wife, Marion Russell; two sons, Jerry Russell and Dennis Russell; two daughters, Judy Russell and Linda Russell; three step-children, Eugene Green, Rebecca Willoughby and Michael Green; 11 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 9th, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Cremation Preneed Care, where a funeral service to celebrate his life will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 10th. Interment will follow at Newbre Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness or Alzheimer's and Dementia Association.
