James G. "Jim" Demetrious of Kalamazoo, MI and formerly of Battle Creek, MI and Detroit, MI.
Jim died unexpectedly Saturday morning, March 1, 2014 at Borgess Medical Center, Kalamazoo.
Jim, the son of Zaharias B. and Sylvia J. (Gurlides) Demetrious, was born on July 16, 1946 in Detroit, MI.
Surviving is his brother, John F. (Mara) Demetrious of Roseville, MI and two nephews, Zachary and John Demetrious.
The Funeral Service to celebrate Jim's life will be held on Monday, March 3rd at 2:00 p.m. at the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home, 105 Capital Avenue, NE, Battle Creek, where friends will be received from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Interment will be at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, MI, with full military honors on Wednesday, March 5th at 10:00 a.m.
