James D. "Jim" Warren of Richland, MI
Jim, age 78, died Wednesday evening, April 8, 2015 at Kairos Dwelling, Kalamazoo, MI; following a brief illness and surrounded by his loving family.
Jim, the son of Delmar and June (Eicher) Warren, was born in Bloomingdale, MI on February 3, 1937; had resided in the Richland area for the past twenty years and had retired from Eaton Corporation of Galesburg, MI in 1992 from Marketing and Sales.
Jim was united in marriage to the former, Deanna J. Hartfield on November 5, 1961 at the Bloomingdale Christian Church. Surviving is his wife of over 53 years, Deanna; two sons, Matthew J. (Denise) Warren of Richland and Craig D. (Kamela) Warren of Hickory Corners, MI; seven precious grandchildren, Carly, Kaley, Hobie, Tori, Lexi, Kole and Brennan; two sisters, Joanne VanDerven of Ionia, NY and Kathy Miler of Richland and by two brothers, Jerry Warren of Kalamazoo and Bret Warren of CA. Jim was preceded in death by his parents.
The Memorial Service to celebrate Jim's life will be held at a future date. There will be no visitation and the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home, Richland Chapel (269-629-6022) will announce the service information. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jim's honor may be directed to gracespring Bible Church, 8643 Gull Road, Richland, MI 49083 or Hospice Care of Southwestern Michigan, 222 N. Kalamazoo Mall, Kalamazoo, MI 49007.
