James R. “Jim” Wolfe, 68, is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Jane McDonagh; daughters, Amanda (Bryan) Wilborn and Ashley (Blake) Conway; sons, Sean (Alec) Gabrielli and Carlin Gabrielli; grandchildren, Madden, Presley and Cameron James and a brother, Dan (Sue Esman) Wolfe. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Elizabeth Wolfe and brothers Rick and Steven.
Jim served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. He was an avid fisherman and had a love and connection to the open water. After retiring from FedEx, Jim and Jane traveled and enjoyed spending time together outdoors golfing, fishing, hiking, snowshoeing and nature walking. Jim’s love and kindness has touched not just his family, but a vast community of friends and loved ones who love Jim in return.
Visitation will be held at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, 9170 E D Ave, Richland, MI 49083 on Thursday, October 26th, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A private inurnment will be held at Fort Custer National Cemetery.
