Jane Louise Tomlin

Jane Louise Tomlin, age 70, of Galesburg passed away Saturday morning, August 22, 2020 at Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo. She was born in Battle Creek on March 16, 1950 the daughter of Henry and Wilma (Siefke) Tomlin. Jane retired from Western Michigan University in 2012 after more than 22 years of service. She loved her pets and enjoyed playing on the computer and gardening.

Jane is survived by her sister, Jeanette Tomlin of Battle Creek; three step-daughters, Skye (Jeff) Tackett, Shawna (Michael) Taylor, and Alannah Weisbaum; two nephews, Caleb David Chichester and Colin Daryl Chichester; two grandnephews, Colin Daryl Chichester Jr. and Mason Henry Chichester; and a grandniece, Mikayla Chichester. She was preceded in death by her parents.

At Jane's request, cremation has taken place and no services a currently being planned. Memorials directed to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan would be appreciated.
