Janet L. Felter

Janet L. Felter, 77, of Battle Creek, died December 6, 2019. Janet was born September 16, 1942 in Battle Creek to Marvin and Mildred (Little) Bates. She loved watching westerns, especially Gunsmoke. She also enjoyed to play dice, crochet and drink coffee.

Janet is survived by her daughter, Tammy Kilbourn; two sons, Mike Bates and Jeff Andrews; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Tom and David Bates and two sisters, Debbie Bates-Sturdivent and Connie Bates-Schragg. Janet was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Steve Carney and a brother, Butch Bates.
