Janet Evonne (Trayer) Peake

Janet Evonne (Trayer) Peake passed away peacefully on November 1, 2026, at the age of 70.

Janet was born on July 17, 1956, to Alice and Gilbert Trayer of Richland, Michigan.

She is survived by her loving husband, Tom Peake; her son, Christopher Wilcox; her stepchildren, Matt, Mark, Jennifer, and Justine Peake; her brothers, Mike and Kevin Trayer; and her beloved grandchildren, who brought her so much joy.

Janet loved to travel, play games, and make memories with the people she loved. She had a love for her pets and a special place in her heart for animals. She was a fighter until the very end, showing strength and determination throughout her journey.

Janet will be deeply missed by her family and all those who knew and loved her. Her memories, laughter, and love will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Barry County Animal Control in Janet's memory, honoring her love for animals.
