J.D. Millsap

J.D. Millsap Sr. of Battle Creek passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at age 78.

J.D. was born on October 18, 1942 in Dayton, Tennessee to Theapolis and Alma (Menton) Millsap. He enjoyed anything to do with the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. He loved making beef jerky and was a long-time member and served on the board of the Andrus Street Church of God.

J.D. is survived by his daughters, Patricia "Patty" Spindlow and Donna Burwick; sons, Roger Millsap and J.D. Millsap Jr.; twelve grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren (and two more due in 2022). He was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa Millsap; granddaughter, Elaina Burbank; and two wives.
