Jean Bremer

Jean Bremer, 90 of Battle Creek, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on June 18, 2022. She was born on June 26, 1931, daughter of Milan and Antoinette Kovach.

Jean is remembered as a loving and outgoing person. She loved camping, reading and putting together puzzles. Jean was very active in the community with volunteering at the Humane Society and Bibles for Missions. Her faith was very important to her. She made it a point to study the Bible daily. Jean accompanied her husband as missionaries in Nigeria from 1970 to 1979. Jean was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Jean is survived by her son, Mike (Kathy) Bremer; her daughters, Barb (Brian) Kole, Anne (Al) Cain, Connie (Vinnie) Vandenbosch, Beth (Pat) Harrington and Paula Bremer; her brother, Fred (Connie) Kovach; her sister, Elaine Kovach; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, Donald Bremer and her sister, Marion Armstrong.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care where a service to celebrate Jeans life will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donation made be made to the Calhoun County Animal Center or Bibles for Missions.
