Bob Seger lost his #1 fan, Jean P. Price, when she passed away on May 13, 2022. She was 85 years old. Jean was born May 7, 1937 in Battle Creek to Earl and Olive (Johnson) Lewis. Jean and her twin sister Joan were raised by their grandparents Cora & Harry and their Uncle OT Johnson. She graduated from Battle Creek Central High School in 1957. She married Herbert A. Price on October 2, 1960 in Battle Creek Bible Church. They raised their family in Battle Creek while Jean worked at Post Cereal for many years.
Jean is survived by her loving husband, Herbert; her daughter, Penny (Kris) Jacobs; her twin sister, Joan Rapp; a granddaughter, Jenna (Dylan Reminder) Price; a daughter-in-law, Sharon Price; a sister, Norma Krutsch; two brothers, David Lewis & Thomas Lewis; a nephew, Steven Rapp; her precious dog Maxie, and her extended family in Kentucky. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, Uncle OT, nephew Gary, and her son Trent Price.
Jean was a member of the Marshall United Methodist Church and the Postum Club. She volunteered at the Bronson Battle Creek Gift Shop and loved to give away cereal to those she knew. Most of all Jean loved shopping, especially trips to Chicago with Joan.
A visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, where funeral services to celebrate her life will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 20, officiated by Rev.
