Jean A. Stout

Jean A. Stout, 57, of Battle Creek, died May 17, 2014. Jean was born June 9, 1956 in South Bend, IN to Roland and Tina McGriff. She graduated high school and went on to take college classes at beauty school. She would later work for many years at Aunt Millie's Bread Company.

Jean had many hobbies in life, but especially enjoyed gardening and yard work. She had a distinct loved for animals. She also liked to attend garage sales and crochet.

Jean is survived by her two sons, Jacob Freel and Jeremi Freel; her brother-in-law, Chuck (Cynthia) McIntosh and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Timothy Stout and her mother-in-law, Juanita Pervine.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial gathering to celebrate Jean's life will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Chuck and Cynthia's residence in Battle Creek.
