She was devoted to her family and a loyal friend, joyfully acknowledging achievements and special days with her presence or thoughtful cards and special gifts. She loved being outdoors, enjoying nature, and gardening. Jeanette enjoyed cooking and trying new recipes. Jeanette loved animals, and animals loved her back. She had dogs, cats, sheep, and various farm animals throughout the years. She remained active in her late years as she participated in lifelong learning, socialized, exercised with her friends, and attended Battle Creek Bible Church.
Jeanette was always up for an adventure, either in Michigan, doing the bridge walk several times, or bigger trips like Norway and France. She liked to volunteer at community activities and contributed to her grandchildren’s sporting events, interests, and academic pursuits. Jeanette will be remembered for a spirit of boundless enthusiasm and adventure. She lived fully, embracing each day with joy and curiosity.
