Jeffrey Philip Kerwin, 66, of Bellevue, Michigan died at Bronson Battle Creek on Thursday, November 3, 2016.
He was born September 28, 1950 in Battle Creek, Michigan to Richard and Patricia (Harvey) Kerwin. Jeff grew up on Battle Creek's west side, was a 1968 graduate of Gull Lake High School and earned two Associate Degrees from Kellogg Community College. Jeff retired in 2010 from Sears, where he was employed for 39 years.
Jeff was united in marriage to Dawn M. Cochran on October 14th, 1972 at St. Philip Catholic Church. Surviving are his wife, Dawn; two sons, Matthew J. Kerwin and Brian J. Kerwin of Madison, WI; siblings, Jane Leach of Augusta, John (Karen) Kerwin, Julie Kerwin and Jim (Rita) Kerwin all of Battle Creek; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and their families. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents.
Jeff was a member of St. Philip Catholic Church. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fly fishing.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Simon Chummar-Manjooran at St. Philip Catholic Church 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 7, 2016. Inurnment will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.
