Jeffrey Charles "Jeff" Miller of Battle Creek, MI

Jeff, age 33, died unexpectedly Thursday, March 9, 2017 at his residence.

Jeff, the son of Joel and Irene (Cardoza) Miller, was born in Lowell, MA on December 28, 1983 and was a 2004 graduate of Harper Creek High School. He had been employed at Connections, most recently with EPI Printers, Inc. of Springfield, MI on the Packaging Line and was an excellent landscape artist and often did yardwork, snow removal and odd jobs for neighbors, family and friends. Jeff also enjoyed playing video games. Jeff had volunteered for Habitat for Humanity, but his priorities in life were his family and friends.

Jeff is survived by his paternal grandmother, Laura A. Miller of Battle Creek; paternal grandfather and step-grandmother, Charles M. and (Shirley) Miller of Battle Creek; his sister, Taylor M. Miller of Kalamazoo, MI; three aunts, Dayna A. (Dan) Embury and Kathleen E. Miller, both of Battle Creek and Christine M. (Jack) Behrens of Portage, MI; his mother, Irene Russell of Ludlow, VT; a half sister, Courtney McIntire of Amherst, NH; his maternal grandmother, Carol Balsamo of Salem. NH; two aunts, Maria (Anthony) Markos of Marshall, MI and Lori Sunie of WI and a uncle, Michael Sunie of Pittsburgh, PA. He is also survived by many loving cousins. Jeff was preceded in death by his dad, Joel in November of 2001.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 16th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Philip Roman Catholic Church, 92 Capital Avenue, NE, Battle Creek 49017. Interment will follow next to his dad, Joel in Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens, Battle Creek. Family and friends will continue Jeff's life celebration with a time of fellowship and a luncheon at St. Joseph Catholic Church Social Hall immediately following the committal service. Jeff's family will greet friends on Wednesday evening, March 15th from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Battle Creek.
